Emma Wilson
Emma Wilson (Scotland) is a jewelry maker specializing in silver and enamel. A graduate of Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, she launched her first collection in 2019 and has since exhibited widely, including at Collect Art Fair and Goldsmiths’ Fair in London. In 2024, she was awarded the prestigious Goldsmiths’ Fair Award.
Wilson’s work is deeply inspired by the dynamic seascape surrounding Aberdeen, capturing the essence of stormy skies and the rich textures of the coastline. Her enameling process is informed by abstract watercolor paintings, where the fluidity of water and pigment mirrors the interplay of opaque and transparent glass. Employing a variety of techniques, she creates statement art jewelry, with each piece uniquely preserving the memory of the sea. Through her enamel designs, Wilson transforms fleeting coastal moments into wearable art, evoking the atmosphere of the shore in every piece.
