Flore Soria
Flore Soria (France) is a jeweler whose material of choice is leather. Initially trained in social sciences and archaeology, she made a decisive shift in her career by studying leather craftsmanship at the esteemed Grégoire Ferrandi School in Paris. She subsequently spent several years working in the high-end leather industry before fully dedicating herself to jewelry making in 2016.
Soria’s work explores the remarkable plasticity of leather, pushing its boundaries through a fusion of techniques that render the material nearly unrecognizable. Her approach intertwines artistic vision with technical mastery, resulting in unique, sculptural pieces. Profoundly inspired by the vast landscape of craftsmanship, the inherent beauty of natural materials, and the expressive potential of handmade objects, she seeks to create jewelry that embodies both the pleasure of the creative act and the emotional resonance of artisanal artistry.
