Guy Howe Conners
Guy Howe Conners (Scotland) is an Edinburgh based designer who graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2022. His work explores the intersection of the organic and the synthetic, creating bold, sensual, and futuristic jewelry that is both striking and wearable. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, particularly butterflies and his passion for tropical orchids, Guy also incorporates elements from urban graffiti and pop culture into his designs.
His creative process begins with simple sketches and collages, distilling essential forms and shapes from his inspirations. These are then digitally manipulated, allowing for abstraction, repetition, and dissection, which results in pieces that maintain an organic essence while appearing synthetic and otherworldly.
Handcrafted in his studio, Guy’s jewelry is made using traditional silversmithing techniques, with carefully considered accents of color. His work challenges conventional aesthetics, offering a unique balance between nature and technology.
