Teresa Sansón
Teresa Sansón is a Venezuelan artist whose multidisciplinary background informs her contemporary jewelry practice. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Art, Aesthetics, Graphic Design, Architecture, and Web Design from Venezuela. Since 2009, she has pursued specialized training in goldsmithing and fire enamel through various courses and workshops, both locally and internationally.
Her work explores social and cultural themes through unconventional materials. Her “Constructuras”collection reflects urban progress using cement, steel, lithographic ink, and 24k gold leaf. Her “Small Botanical Essays” collection reinterprets Karl Blossfeldt’s botanical photography with aluminum, brass, steel, 950 silver, and acrylic inks.
Sansón has exhibited her work widely in Europe and also in South America.
