Veronica Astolfo
Veronica Astolfo (Italy) is a designer whose work embodies the rich traditions of Venetian artistry, passed down through three generations. Her story begins with her grandmother, Agatina, a renowned designer of theatrical and sculptural bijoux in 1960s Venice. Agatina’s blown-glass jewelry, featured in Romeo Gigli’s late 1980s runway shows, reflected her mastery of local artisan techniques. She imparted this knowledge to her daughter, Gloria, who founded the atelier Astolfo in 1987. Today, Veronica continues the family’s legacy, bringing a contemporary vision to the craft.
Inspired by nature, Veronica’s pieces are meticulously handcrafted in her San Marco studio using carefully sourced materials, including early 20th-century microbeads, glass and crystal pearls, semi-precious stones, coral, and natural pearls. Her work has been featured in collaborations with prestigious fashion houses such as Claude Montana, Bottega Veneta, and Alberta Ferretti, reinforcing her reputation for timeless, artisanal elegance.
