Caterina Zucchi
Caterina Zucchi (Italy) graduated in 2003 as an expert on glass working techniques from Vetroricerca Glas & Modern and later worked in Murano as a master’s assistant.
Specializing in lampworking, she explores the possibilities of Murano glass in jewelry design. Influenced by surrealist art, geometric forms, and architecture, her work balances bold, voluminous shapes with lightness and wearability. Zucchi views glass both as an artistic medium and as an adornment, participating in numerous national and international exhibitions.
In 2019, she was a guest artist at the Denizli International Glass Biennial in Turkey, and in 2022, she taught a Blown Glass Beads class at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina. That same year, she was featured in the International Biennale of Glass in Sofia, Bulgaria. In October 2023, she joined the prestigious Homo Faber Guide, and in 2024, she celebrated 20 years of her career.
